Southport's Jack Calveley, employed by LABC and seconded to Sefton Metropolitian Borough Council, was delighted to have received Highly Commended for Northwest regional LABC Newcomer of the year.

The LABC Building Excellence Awards are the largest business to business awards in the building control sector in the UK.

LABC is the membership organisation that works on behalf of local authorities, providing the voice of public service building control to various government departments and industry partners.

LABC provides public sector building control with technical guidance, accredited education, performance standards and validation assessments for our 3,500 surveyors and technicians working for Councils across England and Wales.
